Optimized for clarity, sweetness, and acidity. This profile is formulated specifically for light-roast coffee. It is a “soft” water formulation with 45 GH (from Calcium and Magnesium) 20 KH (from Potassium and Sodium), which is the profile recommended by modern roasters.
Includes 1 packet of mineral concentrate which makes 53 gallons of brew water.

So, how does this work?
You’ll receive 1 packet of minerals, 1 micropipette, and 1 BPA-free plastic ball jar lid.
What you'll need
- A scale capable of measuring down to 1 gram
- A 32oz/800ml glass mason jar (for example, from a used jar of tomato sauce)
First, you’ll use the mineral packet to make a jar of mineral concentrate.
- Add mineral packet to a 32oz glass mason jar (NOT INCLUDED)
- Add 800g boiling water (tap water is fine)
- Stir, then allow to cool to room temperature
Next, you’ll use the included micropipette to add a measured quantity of concentrate to your distilled or deionized water.
